General Elevator & Escalator Corporation

Incorporated in 1976, General Elevator and Escalator Corp. (GEEC) began as an elevator maintenance company servicing all types and brands of elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters and other hoisting equipment.

A year later in 1977, GEEC became the exclusive distributor of SEMAG SPA of Italy, selling numerous Semag elevators, traction and hydraulic types.

​

In 1989, extending its portfolio, GEEC became the exclusive agent of INDUSTRIAL VILLARES S.A. from Sao Paolo, Brazil for high-speed elevators.

​

In 1995, GEEC started representing KOPPEL A.W. SPA of Italy for traction and hydraulic elevators and maintained the partnership until today.

A year later in 1996, marketing and installation of FUJI Machine roomless (MRL) Elevators and Escalators commenced and so as DALDOSS Elevetronic EASYGO HOME Lifts and its MICROLIFT Dumbwaiters and MICROFREIGHT Elevators.

The year that followed, in 1997, recognizing the need to serve Persons With Disabilities (PWD) GEEC introduced SAVARIA Vertical Platform Lifts and BARDUVA Enclosed Platform Lifts, specializing in HOMELIFTS for people in wheelchairs for homes and buildings.

By the turn of the century, year 2000 was another year to upgrade the portfolio adding wheelchair lifts for vans through partnering with leading U.S. supplier RICON Corporation.

In 2001, GEEC launched marketing and installing SANYO Elevators and XJ SIEMENS Elevators, Escalators, and Walkalators for low, medium, and high-rise applications.  GEEC also supplied malls and supermarkets with various elevator, escalator, and walkalator equipment.  For people with disabilities, GEEC also provides BRUNO Independent Living Aids Stairlifts from the U.S. and ACORN Stairlifts from the U.K.

Today, GEEC has since expanded to include marketing and distribution of world-class brands and manufacturers in the Philippines.
